Kathryn285 ::: Favorites 2007-12-27 04:50:14 yeah... and the ukrainians had to dance to train to defend themselves against russia... you know, it wasn't always a part or Russia.. they just stole it. I HATE when people make that mistake. they're always like "oh, russians are so nice, cause they like, freed you, didn't they?!" Ukraine was an independant country, untill Russia stole it. Then freed it. How sweet. And it wasn't two years. My grandmother was born there, and lived there for 14 years until war drove them out. __________________________________________________

rusgreek ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 12:20:56 russians (Ukraine used to be part of it....it become independent in 1991 for more than 2 years for the first time in history .) had to defend themselves from europeans in the west, asians in the east and arabs in the south. So they made a fight style that could deal with all these people. __________________________________________________

Aetherus7 ::: Favorites 2007-11-23 07:41:08 Wow! amazing! Are all of the moves traditional? Is anything from Asia, or is it pure European? Good to know europeans have their own martial arts! Thanx for posting! __________________________________________________
ziyou1969 ::: Favorites 2007-11-12 15:05:50 That is beautiful! I see a lot of similarities with Chinese wushu, especially in the butterfly kicks, and the front sweeps with the legs. The double swords twirling reminds me of the shuang dao forms in wushu. It is absolutely fascinating how people from different cultures develop similar movements. I am very glad that this has been preserved. __________________________________________________

Jehowy123 ::: Favorites 2007-10-31 10:41:32 Ja pierdzielę... Masakra... Normalnie odkąd to zobaczyłem, to pragnę ćwiczyć Bojowy Hopak... To co oni odwalają z tymi szablami to jest niesamowite... Nic dziwnego że kozacy nieźli byli jako wojownicy... To ludzie potrafią się tak szybko i zręcznie ruszać? ;-) Fav! __________________________________________________ |
